    Pain Management

The Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital at the University of Wisconsin declares pain as "an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience associated with actual or potential tissue damage." Pain is subjective and can be difficult to measure. It's important to be aware of subtle behavioral changes, as they may be the only way your pet can communicate a need for pain management assistance.
