Regenerative Medicine

The Assisi Loop

The Assisi Loop uses targeted Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (tPEMF) to deliver a microcurrent that targets the body’s own natural anti-inflammatory process. A tiny electrical signal is deposited to the tissue in a way that mimics physiological stimulus that normally occurs in healthy tissue, thus stimulating cellular repair. The result is accelerated healing and relief of inflammation and its symptoms of pain and swelling. The Assisi Loop provides an effective non-invasive, non-pharmaceutical therapy based on the same technology that is FDA cleared for human use.  For more information on the Assisi Loop 2.0 please go to www.assisianimalhealth.com

Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy

Platelets are cells that circulate in the blood stream and play roles in both hemostasis and wound healing. The platelet cell releases growth factors that stimulate other cells in the body to migrate to the area of trauma, thus facilitating tissue healing.

To make PRP, a sample of blood is obtained from your pet and processed to separate its components. This process concentrates the platelets as well as growth factors, amplifying healing properties. PRP is often preformed as a series of one to three injections with a two-week time span between injections.

Stem Cell Therapy
Stem cells are the precursor cells from which all our bodies tissues are created, and they play an important role in repairing damage to our bodies and have a unique ability to influence other cells to help guide the tissue repair process. Stem cell therapy allows us to harvest large numbers of these cells and concentrate them in areas of greatest need making it a promising treatment for canine and feline joint problems.

Under anesthesia fatty tissue is taken from your pet and processed into a concentrated form of adult stem cells. These cells are then injected into your pet's affected joints. The stem cells are not altered in anyway, so the body accepts these cells as "self" and does not reject them. Conditions like osteoarthritis, tendon injuries, bone fractures and other systemic diseases can benefit from this therapy with little risk to the patient.

Our partnership with Vet-Stem, the leading veterinary regenerative medicine company in the nation, has allowed us to treat patients that would otherwise require medication long-term to treat their respective conditions.
