About the Role
The Technician Assistant assists the technicians and doctors to the fullest possible extent, to maintain and improve the quality of care given to the patients and to aid the doctors in achieving the greatest efficiency by relieving them of technical work responsibilities.
The Technician Assistant assists in multiple procedures providing care for patients, including physical examinations, extensive client interaction, dental and surgical procedures, pre and post-operative patient care, vaccinations, laboratory testing, euthanasia, patient nursing care, as well as client education, accurately entering service charges into client processing database, creating and presenting financial options and estimates, preparing medications and inventory.
Salary and benefits (401k, health insurance, employee discount plan, paid leave/holidays and CE, etc.) are commensurate with experience and will be discussed during the interview process. This is a full-time veterinary technician position and will require work on evenings and Saturdays.
Requirements
Veterinary Experience: 1 year (preferred)
